Matthew Schorr currently holds one of Glenbrook's most significant active listings: 1754 US Highway 50, a $10,900,000 lakefront property on 0.78 acres with a private sandy beach path and a lottery-won shared pier, the kind of asset that rarely comes up in a neighborhood of roughly 297 homes where single-digit sales happen in a typical year. He's a second-generation Tahoe agent and Senior Sales Associate on Team Blair Tahoe at Compass, Lake Tahoe's #1 real estate team, which has closed more than $2 billion in lifetime sales.

On his own production, Matthew has closed more than $120 million in career sales, including $22.6 million across 17 transactions in the trailing 12 months, independently verified through MLS records. He's dual-licensed in both California and Nevada and has spent more than 12 years negotiating deals around the lake.

Glenbrook runs on its own rules layered on top of TRPA's: a staffed gate house, an HOA that controls architectural review, wildfire fuels management and watercraft registration, and a covenant that prohibits short-term rentals outright, the biggest underwriting difference from neighboring Zephyr Cove and Skyland. Matthew works TRPA's land coverage transfers, IPES parcel scoring and the biennial pier lottery directly rather than in the abstract, and his own Glenbrook listing carries one of only two single-parcel pier permits awarded out of 56 proposals in the 2025 lottery.
