Matthew Schorr was born and raised in Zephyr Cove and still works the streets he grew up on. He's a second-generation agent — his family's real estate roots in the Basin go back to 1981 — and a Senior Sales Associate on Team Blair Tahoe at Compass, Lake Tahoe's #1 real estate team, which has closed more than $2 billion in lifetime sales and sold over 5,750 properties across the lake.

On his own production, Matthew has closed more than $120 million in career sales, including $22.6 million across 17 transactions in the trailing 12 months, independently verified through MLS records. He's dual-licensed in both California and Nevada, a real advantage in a market where the state line runs through the middle of it, and has spent more than 12 years negotiating deals around the lake.

That local knowledge goes past comps. Matthew works with TRPA's land coverage transfer system, IPES parcel scoring and the biennial pier lottery directly rather than in passing, and he's also an active Tahoe investor and vacation-rental operator who can speak to short-term rental rules and cash-flow numbers firsthand.
